2018 is coming in hot!
WITH ONLY 20 DAYS LEFT IN 2017, IT'S TIME TO START THINKING ABOUT YOUR GOALS FOR NOT ONLY YOUR BUSINESS BUT YOURSELF IN 2018.
We've compiled a list of questions to ask yourself to authentically see what's next for you and your business. Reflection on 2017 is key to seeing what's available for you in 2018. Take a look at what we ask ourselves at Gurus 4 You at year end to prepare for all to come in the New Year!
2018 GET SHIT DONE QUESTIONNAIRE:
- What went well in 2017? I mean, what did you rock both personally and professionally?!
- What did not go as planned in 2017? What were some goals you wrote down to accomplish that simple did not happen?
- What did you learn about yourself and your business in 2017?
Take a moment to think ‘Who in my life can I share what I learned about myself and my business with?’ Then send them a message or pick up your phone and ask ‘Hi friend, I would like to share something with you. When is a good time to talk?’ You will be amazed at what else you will see when you share your own development with others.
- What is the one biggest thing you want to see come to fruition in 2018? This may be something you haven't even admitted to yourself.
- Now write down another goal that seems unachievable.(Don't have the funds to do it, is not easily available, requires stepping out of your comfort zone, etc.). This is your target. Let's make it happen.
Bonus points: Call up a friend and invite them to meet you somewhere for a hot chocolate. Let them know you have been reviewing your business performance in 2017 and that you would love to share what you have discovered with them.You never know what killer ideas they may bring up that you never even saw for yourself!
LOOK BACK AT YOUR ANSWERS, YOUR GOALS AND WHAT YOU LEARNED. NOW WHAT'S NEXT?
Sit down and write out what it would look like if these goals were achieved. How would it feel? What would it look like standing on the other side of this accomplishment?
For us here, we want to create online courses to encourage and interact with more small business owners. We want to see a growth in online commerce, to push forward the freedom of entrepreneurship to those who are stuck waiting for a change in their lives, and provide an affordable freedom to create these dreams.
What that would feel like would be some serious accomplishment, and a freedom to explore other areas in our lives where we want to develop and grow. It would also look like hiring on new employees and expanding our business, which would feel amazing! Our internal goal this year is to provide 5 new employees an avenue to create happiness, fun, and freedom from regular work constraints and offer work opportunities both locally and globally.
NEXT IT'S LOOKING AT PLANNING THIS. FROM THE END GOAL, LOOKING BACK, WHAT STEPS ARE REQUIRED TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS?
This is where it takes time, patience and being a different way of being to create what you want to achieve in 2018.
For me, Melissa, it would require being bold, audacious, unreasonable and powerful! It requires totally stepping out of my comfort zone (camera time-- eeeh!), and providing my services to strangers worldwide on a wholly different platform.
So I am in! I am sitting down to write my goals, what it would feel like, and what it would look like to plan this for my 2018.
